The Epic Games Store has revealed its next free titles.
New release Saturnalia and Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus will be free to claim from Epic’s PC marketplace from October 27 until November 3.
They will replace Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition and Evoland Legendary Edition, which are currently free to download until October 27.
Developed and published by Santa Ragione, Saturnalia is a survival horror adventure also coming to Switch, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
“Play as a cast of characters exploring an isolated village of ancient ritual – its labyrinthine roads will change each time you lose all your characters”, reads an official product description.
Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus sees players “take control of the most technologically advanced army in the Imperium – The Adeptus Mechanicus. Your every decision will weigh heavily on the outcome of the mission, in this turn-based tactical game. Will you be blessed by the Omnissiah?”
The Epic Games Store gave away 89 free titles last year (down from 103 in 2020), with a combined worth of $2,120. According to Epic, users claimed over 765 million free games in 2021.
Amazon Prime Gaming members can currently claim seven PC titles at no additional charge.
October’s ‘free’ Prime Gaming titles are Fallout 76, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Total War: Warhammer II, Glass Masquerade, Loom, Hero’s Hour, and Horace.
