The Epic Games Store’s next free titles have been announced
Fallout 3 and Evoland will replace ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove and Darkwood
The next free Epic Games Store titles have been confirmed.
Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition and Evoland Legendary Edition will be free to claim from Epic’s PC marketplace from October 20-27.
They will replace ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove and Darkwood, which are currently free to download until October 20.
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove is billed as “a mash-up of the best features from the classic console games with a ton of funky fresh improvements. Relive the original roguelike game with new 4 player online and local co-op, crazy Earthlings, weird presents and aliens from Funkotron”.
Survival horror game Darkwood sees players “explore a rich, ever-changing free-roam world by day, then hunker down in your hideout and pray for the morning light”.
The Epic Games Store gave away 89 free titles last year (down from 103 in 2020), with a combined worth of $2,120. According to Epic, users claimed over 765 million free games in 2021.
Amazon Prime Gaming members can currently claim seven PC titles at no additional charge.
October’s ‘free’ Prime Gaming titles are Fallout 76, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Total War: Warhammer II, Glass Masquerade, Loom, Hero’s Hour, and Horace.
