The Epic Games Store’s next free games have been announced
Conan Exiles and Hue will replace Stranger Things 3 and AER Memories of Old on July 2
Epic has announced that open world survival game Conan Exiles and puzzle adventure Hue will be next week’s free Epic Games Store titles.
They’ll replace current free games Stranger Things 3 (normally £7.99) and AER Memories of Old (normally £11.99) on Thursday July 2 at 4pm BST/11am ET/8am PT.
Free titles on the Epic Games Store now periodically require that two-factor authentication be activated on users’ accounts before they’re able to be claimed.
The free games promotion, which launched alongside the storefront in December 2018, will run throughout 2020.
Epic CEO Tim Sweeney recently claimed it has caused sales to increase for developers who participate in the scheme.
It was announced earlier this month that A Total War Saga: Troy will be released exclusively via the Epic Games Store this August and will be free to download for its first 24 hours.
Epic Games recently removed police cars from Fortnite with the launch of Chapter 2 – Season 3, amid controversy surrounding law enforcement practices sparked by the death of African American George Floyd while in custody.
