The Epic Games Store’s latest free game is Midnight Ghost Hunt.

The “chaotic multiplayer hide-and-seek game” is now free to claim until June 8, when it will be replaced by a mystery title.

Developed by Vaulted Sky Games and published by Coffee Stain Publishing, Midnight Ghost Hunt is currently in Early Access.

“Possess seemingly harmless objects as Ghosts or chase them down as Hunters before the clock strikes midnight!” reads an official product description.

It replaces Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, which was previously free to claim from the Epic Games Store.

The Epic Games Store gave away 99 free titles last year (up from 89 in 2021). These games had a combined worth of $2,240 and users claimed over 700 million free titles (down from 765 million in 2021), according to Epic.

The Epic Games Store recently launched its ‘Mega Sale 2023’ promotion. Featuring discounts of up to 75%, it will run until June 15 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST.

All Epic Games Store accounts automatically received a coupon offering 25% off purchases priced at, or combining to, $14.99 / £11.99 / €14.99. And players will receive another 25% off coupon each time they complete an eligible transaction (see T&Cs).

The Epic Rewards scheme also launched last month. “For every eligible purchase on the Epic Games Store, you’ll receive 5% back of the total spent as credit to use in the store,” Epic said.
