The Epic Games Store will give away 3 games next week after pulling free Conan Exiles
Killing Floor 2, Lifeless Planet and The Escapists 2 set to replace current free game Hue
The Epic Games Store will give away three free games next week.
Killing Floor 2, Lifeless Planet: Premier Edition and The Escapists 2 will be free to download from July 9-16.
They’ll replace puzzle adventure Hue, which normally costs £11.99 but is currently free to download.
Open world survival game Conan Exiles was also due to be free this week, but Epic pulled it at the last minute with no explanation.
“The Epic Games Store team has decided that Conan Exiles will not be free, but will be available for purchase on the store at a later date,” it said.
Free titles on the Epic Games Store now periodically require that two-factor authentication be activated on users’ accounts before they’re able to be claimed.
The free games promotion, which launched alongside the storefront in December 2018, will run throughout 2020.
Epic CEO Tim Sweeney recently claimed it has caused sales to increase for developers who participate in the scheme.
