The Epic Games Store is giving away 15 free games over Christmas

The Epic Games Store will give away 15 games over the Christmas period, with one mystery title set to be offered free every day from December 15-29.
The promotion started today with Bloons TD 6, which developer and publisher Ninja Kiwi bills as “a massive 3D tower defense game designed to give you hours and hours of the best strategy gaming available”.
It will be free for 24 hours, after which the game will be replaced with another free title for the same length of time.

Epic Games officially announced the promotion on Thursday, confirming an earlier leak.
The Epic Games Store has also launched its holiday sale today, which runs until January 5, 2023, and features savings of up to 75%, it said.
As well as various discounts, Epic is offering a 25% off store coupon with every full game purchase of $14.99 / £11.99 or above during the sale period (full details can be found here).
In 2019, the Epic Games Store gave away 12 games over Christmas, and in 2020 and 2021 it gave away 15 free titles over the festive period.
The Epic Games Store has given away 100s of free titles since launching in December 2018. According to Epic, last year it offered 89 free titles (down from 103 in 2020), with a combined worth of $2,120. Users claimed over 765 million free games in 2021, it said.
Amazon Prime Gaming members can currently claim eight PC titles at no additional charge.
December’s ‘free’ Prime Gaming titles are Quake, Rose Riddle 2: Werewolf Shadow, The Amazing American Circus, Banners of Ruin, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Spinch, Desert Child and Doors: Paradox.
Amazon Prime will be giving away another 10 free games later this month, including Dishonored 2.
