The Elden Ring launch trailer is here ahead of Friday’s release

Bandai Namco has released the launch trailer for Elden Ring, which is viewable below.

Following a one-month delay, Elden Ring will be released on February 25 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.

The new fantasy RPG from Dark Souls and Bloodborne studio From Software is set in a world called The Lands Between, which was created in collaboration with Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin.

Players take on the role of one of many Tarnished individuals, whose ancestors were exiled from The Lands Between many years ago. But when the Elden Ring is shattered, they get the chance to return and conquer the land they were once banished from.

Bandai Namco also released an Elden Ring overview trailer last week.

And on Monday, the publisher confirmed global Elden Ring release times and pre-load details.

The exact launch time depends on your time zone and chosen platform, with PC players in some regions set to gain access ahead of console owners.

In the US, for example, the PC version of Elden Ring will be playable six hours earlier than the console version.

The game is now available to pre-load for Xbox players. PlayStation and PC players will be able to pre-load Elden Ring 48 hours prior to its release local time.

Fans eagerly awaiting this week’s Elden Ring release should tread carefully online as spoilers are doing the rounds after some players managed to obtain copies early.
