The DualSense Edge controller has received a price cut in Europe
Sony has reduced the price of PS5’s DualSense Edge controller by £10 / €20
Sony has cut the recommended retail price of PlayStation 5’s DualSense Edge controller in Europe.
The accessory originally launched in white in January 2023 with a recommended retail price of $199.99 / £209.99 / €239.99.
But as of today, it’s price has been reduced by £10 / €20 in Europe (US pricing remains unchanged), where it’s now available from Sony for £199.99 / €219.99.
However, it’s worth noting that the controller is still available cheaper elsewhere. For example, at the time of publishing, it can be purchased on Amazon for £184.95.
The new price point was confirmed alongside the announcement of a Midnight Black Collection of PS5 accessories.
Launching on February 20, it includes the PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge, Pulse Elite wireless headphones and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds.
Sony has also announced two new movies based on popular PlayStation games. During the company’s 2025 CES press conference on Monday, it was revealed that films based on Helldivers and Horizon: Zero Dawn are coming.
Ghost of Tsushima Legends is receiving an anime adaption too. Co-produced by Aniplex and Crunchyroll, the series will debut in 2027.
HBO has also offered a new look at Season 2 of its live-action The Last of Us show, and confirmed a release month of April.
