Neither The Division Heartland nor The Division 2 will have a presence during Ubisoft Forward 2021

The Division series won’t be appearing at Ubisoft’s E3 show

The Ubisoft Forward presentation this Saturday will not include games from The Division series, according to their development teams.

A tweet from the official Twitter account for The Division confirmed that neither The Division 2 nor its free-to-play spin-off The Division Heartland will be making an appearance during Ubisoft’s stream.

“Agents, we won’t be at Ubisoft Forward this year, but we invite you all to tune in alongside us to hear the exciting announcements across other Ubisoft titles,” it reads.

“The Division teams are still hard at work – new content for The Division 2 is on track for the end of the year, while Heartland will have additional tests available for players interested in signing up. We look forward to sharing more when we can.”

The tweet also includes a link for players to sign up to potentially playtest The Division Heartland early.

Heartland is the free-to-play Division spin-off announced last month, described by publisher Ubisoft as “a standalone experience” that will provide “an all new perspective on the universe in a new setting”.

A week after the game was announced, 20 minutes of gameplay footage was leaked, along with more information on the game including its 45-player PvEvP mode called Storm.

Another game that won’t be appearing at Ubisoft Forward is the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake.

“We are making great progress for our game to release next year, but we are not ready to share any additional information just yet,” Ubisoft tweeted. “We will share an update as soon as we are ready.”

The Ubisoft Forward presentation properly kicks off on June 12 at 12pm PT / 8pm BST, but will begin an hour earlier with a pre-show featuring news on upcoming updates for For Honor, Trackmania, The Crew 2, Brawlhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and more.

The main show will include the first official look at the next mainline entry in the Rainbow Six franchise, formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine, and new looks at Far Cry 6 and Riders Republic.

Ubisoft will also provide updates from “live titles” such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Rainbow Six Siege on their upcoming content, as well as the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest and soon-to-release movie Werewolves Within, plus “a few additional surprises”.
