The Crew Motorfest gameplay is leaking ahead of its Ubisoft Forward reveal
The third entry in the open-world racing series is set in Hawaii and scheduled for release this year
The Crew Motorfest gameplay videos showing off footage from the title’s latest testing phase appear to be leaking online.
While a 25-minute video published on YouTube on Monday was quickly removed following a copyright claim by publisher Ubisoft, and a separate video claiming to show over two hours of PS5 footage has also been pulled, at the time of writing a mirror of the shorter video is still online.
The game recently entered a fourth phase of closed testing, which is running until June 9.
After that, developer Ivory Tower has teased plans to make “a big announcement”, which will presumably arrive when the game is showcased at Ubisoft Forward on June 12.
Ubisoft announced the third entry in the open-world racing series in January.
Set on the island of O‘ahu in the Hawaiian archipelago, Motorfest will be released this year for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC via the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.
The first entry in the series, The Crew, was released in 2014 and was followed by The Crew 2 in 2018.
Ubisoft claimed in June 2021 that the series had attracted over 30 million players since launch.
Aside from The Crew Motorfest, next week’s Ubisoft Forward product showcase will also feature Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR, among other titles.
