The Avengers confirmed for Stadia
Game to be shown during E3 livestream event on Monday
Square Enix has confirmed plans to launch The Avengers on Stadia.
The publisher tweeted an image of a poster for the game emblazoned on the LA Convention Center, which will host E3 next week.
The promotional material confirms that the title is headed to Google’s new platform in addition to Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
In January 2017, Marvel and Square Enix announced a multi-game partnership which will see the pair develop a series of titles based on Marvel superheroes, beginning with The Avengers.
The secretive project, which is in development at Tomb Raider studio Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Deus Ex maker Eidos Montréal, is due to be shown during Square Enix’s E3 livestream event on Monday June 10 at 6pm PT (2am UK June 11).
It was confirmed earlier this week that fellow Square Enix titles Final Fantasy XV and the Tomb Raider trilogy will be among the Google Stadia launch games when the platform debuts in November.
