Team Ninja announces Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, from Nioh and Bloodborne producers
The fantasy action game is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PC and Game Pass in early 2023
Team Ninja has announced a new fantasy action game called Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Revealed during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on Sunday, it’s billed as a joint creation from Team Ninja producers Fumihiko Yasuda (Nioh) and Masaaki Yamagiwa (Bloodborne).
“Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty follows the dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms,” reads a product description posted on Xbox Wire.
“Players will fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within when Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty launches in early 2023.”
The game will be available for Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC, and day one on Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass and via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Team Ninja’s most recent game was March 2022 release Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.
On Sunday Microsoft released a list of 50 games that it says will be coming to Xbox and PC over the next 12 months, including 43 available via Game Pass on day one.
