Switch Online SNES controllers now available to buy in Europe

Wireless SNES controllers for Nintendo Switch are now available to buy in Europe.
Update, October 1: Shortly after online orders launched in Europe, some users reported problems buying the product. It’s unclear if the initial allocation of wireless SNES controllers has simply sold out, although Nintendo has apologised and said it’s “looking into” the issue.
Update, October 2: Nintendo has said it will make “a small amount” of additional Switch SNES controllers available to buy in Europe soon.

A library of 20 SNES games for Nintendo Switch Online launched in early September.
At the time, Nintendo confirmed plans to launch previously leaked SNES controllers for Nintendo Switch to use with the new library of titles.
Nintendo of America opened SNES controller online orders for Nintendo Switch Online customers on Monday September 16. The product sold out overnight but is now back in stock.
The most recent Nintendo Switch system update, version 9.0.0., made the console compatible with wireless SNES controllers.
The SNES titles currently available for Nintendo Switch Online members include Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, F-Zero, Star Fox, Super Metroid, Pilot Wings and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
New NES and SNES games for Nintendo Switch Online will be released “irregularly” going forward, Nintendo has said. Prior to the launch of the SNES library of games for the subscription service, new NES titles were added on a monthly basis.
