Supergiant’s Hades is coming to Switch in 2020
Game will hit Nintendo’s console when it leaves Early Access on PC
Supergiant Games’ Hades will be released for Nintendo Switch in fall/autumn 2020.
It will arrive on Nintendo’s console at the same time as it exits Early Access on PC, the developer announced on Tuesday during the latest Nintendo Indie World Showcase.
PC players will be able to transfer their progress to the Nintendo Switch version via cross-save, Supergiant said.
“Hades is a rogue-like dungeon crawler in which you defy the god of the dead as you hack and slash your way out of the Underworld of Greek myth,” Supergiant says.
“It combines the best aspects of our previous games, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.
“It’s never the same experience twice: Each time you play, you’ll combine the divine might of various Olympian gods with your own, brave nefarious new challenges, and unravel more of the story featuring our award-winning art, audio, and narrative.”
