Supergiant shares plans for its first Hades 2 patch
It’s expected to be released later this month
Supergiant Games has shared details about Hades 2’s first patch following its Early Access release last week.
In an update on Steam, the developer said it plans to make changes to resource gathering and mobility when the update is released, which “should be” later this month.
“We want Hades II players to focus on goals that are important to them, though don’t want resource gathering to feel too frustrating, such as if you didn’t bring the right gathering tool along for the ride,” it said.
“It’s important to us that Melinoë have her own distinct style, and for players to be able to navigate her battles and other interactions in a nimble, responsive, expressive way,” the studio added. “We have ideas for how to improve her Dash and Sprint.”
The patch is also likely to include “a few other enhancements and fixes”, while Supergiant said it’s still gathering feedback and analysing data as it considers its first balance changes.
Thanks so much to everyone who's taken the time to play Hades II in Early Access so far!🌒
