Summer Game Fest 2023 announces over 40 partners including Xbox and PlayStation
Activision, EA and Disney also join the stacked lineup
Summer Game Fest 2023 will feature content from over 40 major publishers, producer Geoff Keighley has announced.
“And. Here. We. Go! More than 40 partners set to take part in Summer Game Fest activities,” the host wrote on Twitter.
Those interested in attending the showcase in person can also buy tickets to the event, which are now on sale.
The event, which takes place at the YouTube Theatre in Inglewood California on June 8, is set to feature many of the biggest game publishers, although the extent of their involvement has not yet been confirmed by Keighley.
Last year’s show included confirmation that a remake of The Last of Us would arrive on PS5 later that year, an announcement that was spoiled only hours before the show when the game was added to the PlayStation Direct storefront for preorder.

Most notable is the presence of PlayStation and Xbox. Following Summer Game Fest, this summer’s Xbox Games Showcase will take place on Sunday, June 11, and will begin at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST / 7pm CET.
Sony is also planning to showcase upcoming PlayStation games in a digital event held within the next few weeks, sources have told VGC.
According to people with knowledge of Sony Interactive Entertainment’s plans, the next big PlayStation Showcase could take place at the end of this month, or in early June, ahead of other big events planned for next month, including Summer Game Fest.
