Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will receive an offline mode after launch, Rocksteady says.
At launch the game will requires an online connection to play, a decision that was met with backlash from players.
Now, on the game’s official Discord server, Rocksteady has claimed that the game will be playable offline after the launch of the game.
“We’re happy to confirm we are planning to add an offline story mode that will give players the option to experience the main campaign without an internet connection,” it wrote.
“We’re planning to provide this update in 2024 and will provide more details when available.”
The news comes alongside a new trailer for the game, which debuted at The Game Awards and can be viewed above.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is playable solo or with up to four players in online co-op and will support full cross-platform and cross-progression play.
Following several delays, the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League release date is February 2, 2024.
Developer Rocksteady recently launched a new Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League video series alongside pre-orders for the game.
