Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has been delayed to 2024
The delay follows a poor showing at Sony’s February State of Play
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has been delayed until 2024.
The game will now launch on February 2, 2024.
In a statement on Twitter, Rocksteady confirmed the game would be delayed almost an entire year from its planned May date.
“We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players,” it reads.
“Thank you to our amazing community for the continued support, patience and understanding. There is much more to share in the months ahead and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year.”

Earlier this year, a Bloomberg source claimed Warner had decided to push the title from its currently announced May release date to the second half of 2023.
Following the report, Giant Bomb reporter Jeff Grubb said a reliable source had told him that the game may not arrive until 2024.
A 15-minute showing during a PlayStation live stream in February confirmed that Suicide Squad will feature a battle pass, which Rocksteady claimed would only contain cosmetic items.
An internet connection will also be required to play Suicide Squad solo or via online co-op. “There’s precedent for games dropping that requirement, although I think it can be tricky,” Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier commented.
Speaking on the VGC podcast earlier this year, VGC editor Andy Robinson said he’d heard positive things about the game.
“It’s interesting because some of the people I’ve spoken to who are working on that game actually have a lot of positive things to say about it, especially compared to Gotham Knights,” he said.
“I’ve been told that this is not another Gotham Knights, that everyone who’s working on it is actually quite optimistic about the combat loops they’ve made and the game world and things like that.”
