Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League artwork released ahead of next month’s reveal
Rocksteady’s game will be shown at October’s DC Fandome event alongside Gotham Knights
Warner Bros. Games has released the official key art for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Developed by Batman: Arkham series creator Rocksteady Studios, the game is billed as a “genre-bending action-adventure shooter” set in an open-world Metropolis.
Playable solo or with up to four players in online co-op, its original story follows Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, who are on a mission to save Earth and kill the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes, The Justice League.
The game is scheduled to be released worldwide in 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be shown at the DC Fandome digital event in October, as will WB Games Montreal’s Gotham Knights.
Warner’s second DC Fandome show is set to take place on Saturday, October 16, starting at 10am PT / 6pm BST.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Gotham Knights were announced at August 2020’s DC Fandome event, with neither project having been shown publicly since.
Developed by WB Games Montreal, the studio behind 2013’s Batman Arkham Origins, Gotham Knights was originally due to release this year but was officially delayed into 2022 in March.
Playable solo or in two-player co-op, Gotham Knights will be released for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
The game sees players controlling one of four superhero characters—Nightwing, Robin, Red Hood, and Batgirl—following the death of Bruce Wayne.
