Stellar Blade’s photo mode update has been released ahead of schedule.
Developer Shift Up previously said the game’s 1.009 Patch would launch on November 20, but it has been rolled out a day early.
The game’s photo mode lets players pose protagonist Eve, change her outfit, and add new visual effects to screenshots.
The update also adds four new outfits and a new accessory for Eve, plus the ability to remove her ponytail.
Lip-sync support for six additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish) has been added too.
And “projectile auto-aim correction and bullet magnet functions have been applied to the instant death skill,” according to the patch notes published on X, which are viewable below.

The update also adds support for paid Nier Automata DLC which is due to go live on Wednesday.
Shift Up said last week that it’s considering releasing Stellar Blade for PC in 2025, and that it expects the PC version to outsell the PS5 one.
Earlier this year the South Korean company confirmed it was exploring the possibility of developing a Stellar Blade sequel.
