Steam Next Fest has launched, offering players ‘thousands of demos’

Valve has launched the latest edition of Steam Next Fest.
Steam Next Fest is a week-long digital event offering players access to “thousands” of free PC game demos, according to the company.
Steam Next Fest is running until March 3 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.
“For the next week, try out thousands of demos for upcoming games of all kinds – from hardcore survival shooters to cute sims, there’s something for everyone in Next Fest,” Valve said.
The company recently announced the official Steam Sales and Fests dates for the remainder of 2025, which follow:
- Visual Novel Fest: March 3 – 10
- 2025 Steam Spring Sale: March 13 – 20
- City Builder & Colony Sim Fest: March 24 – 31
- Sokoban Fest: April 21 – 28

Steam recently started warning players if an early access title hasn’t been updated in several months, while Steam database site SteamDB has added a new tag which lets players filter out games that use generative AI.
