Steam has launched its Winter Sale

Valve has launched the Steam Winter Sale.

Offering savings on thousands of games, the sale runs until January 5 at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm UK.

Featured discounts include Control Ultimate Edition for £17.49 (50% off), Halo: The Master Chief Collection for £17.99 (40% off) and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout for £12.79 (20% off).

The Epic Games store also launched its Holiday Sale last week, featuring discounts of up to 75% until January 7.

Savings include Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla for £41.49 (17% off), Immortals: Fenyx Rising for £33.49 (33% off), Godfall for £42.49 (15% off), Watch Dogs: Legion for £33.49 (33%), Star Wars Squadrons for £20.99 (40% off) and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for £21.99 (60% off).

The Epic Games Store is also giving away a free game every day until December 31.

GOG is currently hosting its winter sale too, which it says features 3,300 deals and discounts of up to 91% until January 4.

It’s also giving away tactical roguelite Brigador: Up-Armored Deluxe free of charge until December 25.

Sony and Microsoft are also currently running digital software sales featuring discounts on some of 2020’s biggest PlayStation games and Xbox titles.
