Star Was Jedi: Fallen Order hits EA Play and Xbox Game Pass on November 10
Game arrives on the subscription services on Xbox Series X/S launch day
Electronic Arts has announced that Star Was Jedi: Fallen Order will join EA Play on November 10.
On the same date, Microsoft will launch Xbox Series X/S and EA Play will be added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for consoles at no extra cost for subscribers to Microsoft’s service.
EA Play will then be added to Xbox Game Pass for PC in December.
Priced at $4.99/£3.99 per month or $29.99/£19.99 annually, EA Play offers unlimited access to the full versions of more than 50 of EA’s back catalogue games.
Subscribers also save 10% on EA digital content, including full games and DLC, and get access to exclusive trials of new EA titles before they launch, with in-game progress carrying over to the full game if they choose to buy it.
Priced at $14.99/£10.99, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate combines Xbox Live Gold membership with Xbox Game Pass for console and PC.
Jedi: Fallen Order released in November 2019, shortly after Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian debuted and a month ahead of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’s theatrical release.
EA said in July 2020 that Respawn’s action-adventure game had surpassed 10 million unique players.
The publisher labelled it “one of the breakout titles of the last several years” and CEO Andrew Wilson called it “the first title in an entirely new franchise”, suggesting a sequel is on the cards.
