Stadia Pro users get Grid and two SteamWorld games free in March
While Farming Simulator 19 will leave the subscription service
Grid, SteamWorld Quest and SteamWorld Dig 2 will join Stadia Pro’s free games line-up on March 1.
They’ll join existing free games Destiny 2, Gylt, Metro Exodus and Thumper.
Farming Simulator 19 is also currently free, but it will be leaving the subscription service on February 29.
The Stadia version of Codemasters’ Grid features an exclusive 40-car multiplayer mode “not possible” on other platforms, according to its development director.
Stadia launched in November 2019 bundled with three months of Stadia Pro.
The Pro subscription, which normally costs $9.99/£8.99 per month, offers 4K/HDR streaming with 5.1 surround sound (though not on PC yet) and approximately one free game per month.
Google recently said features set to be rolled out by March 2020 include support for 4K gaming on the web and wireless gameplay on the web using the Stadia controller.
It also revealed plans to add over 120 titles to Stadia this year, and said it’s “targeting more than ten” timed exclusive releases in the first half of 2020.
And earlier this month it expanded Stadia Android mobile support to selected Samsung, Asus and Razer phones.
