Sony’s TGS 2024 presence includes an Astro Bot gacha machine
Players can recieve one of four tshirts
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced its TGS 2024 plans, which include a real Astro Bot gacha machine.
Both Astro Bot and Monster Hunter Wilds will be playable at the show. While Astro Bot will already be available to the public by the time of the show on September 28 and 29, those in attendance who take part in the demo will be able to take home one of four t-shirts.
Which design they receive will be determined by a gacha machine featuring Astro Bot.
This event will mark the first time that Monster Hunter: Wilds will be playable to the public in Japan. The game, which is due for release next year, had its first public demo outing during Gamescom in Germany this week. The game also made an appearance during Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live.
Other upcoming PlayStation 5 titles will also be featured as part of Sony’s presence at the show, the details of which will be revealed at a later date.
A stage show, which will be streamed on PlayStation Japan’s YouTube channel will also run for the duration of the show, however, this will mostly feature interviews with developers and fans, rather than a press conference-style presentation.
One of PlayStation’s biggest upcoming exclusives, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, will also feature during the event.
The Death Stranding 2: On the Beach stage event will feature a panel including director Hideo Kojima, special guest Daichi Miura, with appearances by Kenjiro Tsuda, Nana Mizuki, Tomokazu Sugita, Shion Wakayama, and Nicolas Winding Refn.
