Sony’s Days of Play sale includes 30% off PlayStation Plus, $50 off PS5 consoles
Upcoming hardware, software and subscription offers confirmed
Sony has announced details of its annual Days of Play promotion.
Running from May 29 until June 12, Days of Play will include savings on PlayStation Plus subscriptions, PS5 consoles, PlayStation VR2 headsets, and hundreds of games.
Offers will be available at the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Direct, local retailers and the PlayStation Gear store.
From May 29 until June 9 (local promotional dates may vary), new players who sign up to PlayStation Plus can save up to 30% on a 12-month membership plan.
Existing subscribers can get 25% off PlayStation Plus Extra, or 30% off PlayStation Plus Premium for the remainder of their membership when they upgrade during the promotion.
On the hardware front, Sony will be offering $50 off PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition consoles, and $100 off PlayStation VR2 and the PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle.
Hundreds of games will be discounted during the promotion, with featured savings including $20 off the likes of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, MLB The Show 24 and Rise of the Ronin.
Sony said there will be several 24-hour flash sales on the PlayStation Store to.
It has also announced June’s PlayStation Plus games. This month’s Essential line-up includes SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake
For the first time, as part of the Days of Play promotion, PS VR2 games will be included for PlayStation Plus Premium members, beginning on June 6.
New PS2 titles have also been confirmed, which will be added to the service on June 11 for Premium members.
