Sony reveals top PlayStation Store downloads of 2019
Including premium and free-to-play PS4 games, VR titles and DLC
Sony has revealed the top PlayStation Store downloads of 2019 in Europe and the US.
Grand Theft Auto V, which released for PS4 in November 2014, topped the European chart ahead of FIFA 20, Minecraft, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Rainbow Six Siege.
The US top five included three of the same PS4 titles, with Modern Warfare leading a chasing pack of Minecraft, NBA 2K19, GTA V and NBA 2K20.
Apex Legends claimed the top spot on the European and US free-to-play charts ahead of Fortnite, while add-ons for Epic’s game took the top ten places on the annual DLC charts.
Beat Saber topped the 2019 PlayStation VR charts in Europe and the US.

Sony is currently running PlayStation Store sales in the US and Europe. In the US it’s offering up to 50% off more than 1,500 titles until January 16, while Europeans can save up to 70% on over 800 PS4 games until January 17.
January’s PlayStation Plus games, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Goat Simulator, are now free for subscribers until February 3.
