Sony pulls Dino Crisis and Ridge Racer 2 PlayStation Plus listings
They were briefly listed as coming to PS Plus Premium in July, as was Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny
Upcoming classic titles set to be made available to PlayStation Plus members will seemingly include Ridge Racer 2, Dino Crisis and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny.
On Wednesday the games were briefly listed as coming to PlayStation Plus Premium in the Italian language version of an announcement confirming July’s additions to the service.
In a PlayStation Blog post earlier today, Sony announced the first wave of new games coming to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers.
From July 19, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will be able to play Stray, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Marvel’s Avengers, five Assassin’s Creed games and two Saints Row titles.
PlayStation Plus Premium members will also gain access to two more classic games on the same date: No Heroes Allowed! (PSP) and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival (PSP).
There was no mention of the additional classic games listed in the Italian language version of the PlayStation Blog post (pictured above), which also included Dino Crisis (PS1), Ridge Racer 2 (PSP) and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny (PSP) before they were removed.
VGC has contacted Sony for comment on the listings, which appear to all but confirm previous leaks about upcoming additions to PlayStation Plus Premium.
Ridge Racer 2 appeared on the PlayStation Network’s backend servers in April, ahead of the launch of the new PlayStation Plus service.
Art from Dino Crisis also appeared on the Hong Kong PSN store in May.
