Astro Bot and giant PlayStation Pinball appear in London for the UEFA Champions League Final
A range of events will celebrate PlayStation’s partnership with the Champions League
Sony has announced plans to celebrate the UEFA Champions League Final at Wembley this weekend by hosting PlayStation-themed events across the city.
From Thursday, May 30 to Sunday, June 2, 2024, three different PlayStation events will play out at key locations across London.
Trafalgar Square will play host to ‘Giant PlayStation Pinball’, giving punters the chance to win tickets to the UEFA Champions League Final. On the final day of the weekend, it’s open for players to duke it out for other PlayStation-themed prizes.
Over at Potters Field Park by London Bridge, the ‘Astro at Tower Bridge’ installation has a Battle of the Ball statue, featuring Astro Bot standing around as a backdrop for selfies or playful landscape shots to mark the occasion.
There’s also a PlayStation Claw Machine at South Bank by the Waterloo / Embankment lines. Open on Saturday and Sunday only, fans can visit for “the chance to win a range of prizes”.
Finally, the PlayStation Stand on Regent Street by famous toy shop Hamley’s offers players the chance to play EA FC 24 with an eChampions League pro. On Friday only, it’s another chance to win tickets to the big game.

The PlayStation Stand on Regent Street is scheduled for Thursday and Friday only.
