Sony is reportedly bringing Until Dawn to PS5 and PC
A new version of the game will likely be announced in the next two weeks, it’s claimed
Sony Interactive Entertainment is reportedly planning to bring Until Dawn to PS5 and PC.
That’s according to highly reliable dataminer billbil-kun, who expects an updated version of 2015’s PS4 horror game to be announced within the next 15 days.
They claim that the title has been in development for at least a year, although there’s no word on whether it’s being handled by original developer Supermassive Games.
Until Dawn is an interactive horror game in which eight friends fight for survival after they return to an isolated mountain lodge where two of their group disappeared a year earlier.
Starring Rami Malek and Hayden Panettiere, it features a branching narrative in which the player’s choices determine the fate of the characters, all of whom can live or die.
A film adaptation of Until Dawn helmed by Annabelle: Creation, Shazam! and Lights Out director David F. Sandberg was announced last week.
On Tuesday, billbil-kun also seemingly leaked the full title of the Death Stranding sequel.
They claim the PS5 game is called Death Stranding 2 – On The Beach, and that a new reveal for the title is imminent too.
This has further fuelled speculation that Sony is planning to hold a new State of Play presentation, showcasing upcoming PlayStation games, in the coming weeks.
