Sony has released a new PlayStation 5 system software update.
Version 24.07-10.20.00 changes how Activities are displayed to reflect the player’s progress.
It also improves system software performance and stability, as well as the messages and usability on some screens, according to Sony.

A PS5 system software update released in September added the new Welcome Hub and Party Share, among other features.
Welcome Hub is a personalised space with customisable widgets and backgrounds on the PS5 home screen. It’s a reimagined version of the Explore tab, which was previously only available in the US.
PlayStation’s 30th Anniversary Collection, which includes grey PS5 Digital and PS5 Pro consoles, was announced last month.
Pre-orders for the sought-after consoles were snapped up quickly, and many are now being listed by resellers at huge markups ahead of their release next month.
Sony is releasing limited edition versions of the PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge controller, and standard DualSense pad too.
It will also launch PS5 Pro on November 7, 2024, with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $699.99 / £699.99 / €799.99 / ¥119,980.
