‘Short-lived’ MediEvil demo out today on PlayStation Store
Sample the PS4 remake for a limited time ahead of its October release
Sony used its latest State of Play broadcast to announce the release of a MediEvil demo on the PlayStation Store.
The time-limited demo is available from today until October 6.
Announced at the 2017 PlayStation Experience event, MediEvil’s a PS4 remake of SCE Cambridge Studio’s 1998 PlayStation game of the same name.
“Join Sir Daniel Fortesque in a slashing-good time through the opening stages of MediEvil for PS4,” reads the official blurb accompanying the trailer for the demo, which you can view above.
“Marvel at the beautifully rebuilt Kingdom of Gallowmere in 4K as you embark on a quest of redemption that will take you through zombies, demons, necromancers and …crawling hands?
“Featuring the tried and true gameplay of the original PS1 title with a number of graphical and technical enhancements, dead has never looked so alive! And keep your (single) eye out for Dan’s Helmet – acquiring it within the Short-Lived Demo will unlock it for use in the full game.”
Priced at $29.99/£24.99, MediEvil is set for release on October 25, 2019.
