September’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Classics titles have been announced

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed September 2023’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Classics Catalogue titles.

Unlike September’s PlayStation Plus Essential games, which are available for all subscribers to claim, Game Catalogue’s downloadable PS4 and PS5 titles are only available for Extra and Premium tier members.

Confirming an earlier leak, this month’s additions (which are listed in full below) include NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139, Civilization VI and Star Ocean The Divine Force.

PlayStation Plus Premium also offers a selection of PS1, PS2 and PSP games to download, and PS3 games via cloud streaming.

September’s additions to the Classics Catalogue are Star Ocean First Departure R, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Star Ocean: The Last Hope – 4K & FHD Remaster, and Dragon’s Crown Pro.

All games listed below will be available beginning on September 19.

Sony increased PlayStation Plus subscription prices by up to 35% last week.

The move saw the cost of 12-month subscription plans for the service’s Essential, Extra and Premium tiers rise by $20-$40 / £10-£20 / €12-€32 depending on the chosen membership plan.

Sony is currently testing cloud streaming for PS5 games, a feature which will be offered to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers when it launches.

It will include PS5 games from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Game Trials, plus supported digital PS5 titles that players own.
