Sega and Atlus will stream a ‘special broadcast’ from Tokyo Game Show
The presentation will give info on “all the newest titles”
Sega and Atlus will host a “special broadcast” from the Tokyo Game Show next month.
The stream will be part of Sega New, a monthly broadcast that’s held on the official Sega Japan YouTube channel.
According to Sega, the “special TGS broadcast” will tell players “all about the newest titles from Sega and Atlus”.
The broadcast will take place on September 21 at 7pm Japan time (which is 3am PT, 6am ET and 11am BST).
While no further details have been given, Sega and Atlus currently have a number of games in development that are likely to feature during the stream.
Sonic Superstars is set for release on October 17, so it may appear during the presentation.
So too could Yakuza spin-off Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, which follows a month later on November 9. Sega also has Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth planned for early 2024, so fans may get more information on that.
Atlus, meanwhile, has tactic spin-off Persona 5 Tactica set for release on November 17, as well as a remake of Persona 3, titled Persona 3 Reload, which currently has a release date of February 2, 2024.
Atlus is also working on Metaphor: ReFantazio, an all-new adventure from the creators of Persona 3, 4 and 5.
Before the presentation in September, Sega is set to release a brand new game in the Samba de Amigo series.
Samba de Amigo: Party Central will be released on Switch on August 29, with a VR version coming to Meta Quest 2 by the end of the year.
