Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is getting a limited physical release for the first time.
Limited Run Games will be taking pre-orders for the Switch and PS4 versions of the game during a six-week period commencing on January 15 at 10am ET/7am PT/3pm UK.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game standard edition is priced at $34.99, the classic edition at $54.99, and the K.O edition at $139.99.
Limited Run Games will also be taking pre-orders for physical copies of the Xbox One version of the game “at a future date”.
Ubisoft announced plans to re-release the fan-favourite 2D action game in September 2020.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition, which includes include the Knives Chau and Wallace Wells add-on packs, will be available to purchase digitally for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Stadia from January 14.
The side-scrolling beat-’em’-up has been unavailable for purchase for six years, after the property’s license expired. The game is inspired by the iconic comic book series and movie Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
The title was only available digitally on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox One from 2010 to 2014. If players opted out of purchasing and downloading the game during those years, there was no legal way to do so before now.
