Ryu Ga Gotoku reveals its latest game, Project Century

The newest game from the Like a Dragon studio was shown off during The Game Awards

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has unveiled its latest game, Project Century.

Announced during The Game Awards, the game is set in Japan in 1915. No further details were provided for the game.

Elsewhere during the show, Ryu Ga Gotoku also revealed that it’s working on the next instalment of the Virtua Fighter series.

More information on the game will be revealed in a VF Direct presentation, which will air on December 13 at 12am ET / 5am GMT.

Long before either Virtua Fighter or Project Century are ready, the studio will be first be releasing the next game in the Like a Dragon series.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii stars the popular recurring character, Goro Majima, in a story that appears to follow directly from Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Originally planned for release on February 28, 2025, Sega announced in October that Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will now be released a week earlier on February 21.
