Rocksteady urges fans to beware of ‘disappointing’ Suicide Squad spoilers
“We hope everyone can play the game and feel each moment of the narrative for themselves”
Rocksteady has told fans to tread carefully online in the hope of avoiding Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League spoilers.
The game has been the subject of a series of leaks, the latest of which seemingly reveals a number of key story and characters details.
“We’re looking forward to players experiencing the story we’ve crafted in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League once the game launches in the new year,” Rocksteady said on Monday.
“We hope everyone can play the game and feel each moment of the narrative for themselves.
“It is very disappointing to see details being shared ahead of the game’s release, so we can only urge you to try to avoid spoilers where you can. And please try not to impact the enjoyment of other players by posting spoilers.”
Several Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League videos leaked earlier this month, including its intro cutscene and a mission featuring Green Lantern, Flash and Batman.
The footage was seemingly captured by someone participating in the game’s recent alpha tech test.
Following several delays, the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League release date is February 2, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
At launch the game will require an online connection to play, but following a fan backlash, Rocksteady recently confirmed plans to introduce an offline mode post-release.
