Rocket Raccoon and a Battle Pass reportedly found in a Marvel Tokon datamine

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is out now, and it appears that new characters, costumes, and a Battle Pass are set to be added to the game.

That’s according to Neoxon on ResetEra. He goes on to post three screenshots of code allegedly datamined from the PC version of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.

In a screenshot, we see a line that reads, “Kamala is delighted to see Groot and Rocket (though be careful with the look, as he’s future DLC)”. This is being taken as an indicator that Rocket Raccoon will be added to the roster in a future update.

In addition, another screenshot seems to reveal “Legacy” and “Classic” costume variants for Hulk, Spider-Man, Green Goblin, and Dr. Doom.

The final screenshot comes with a long list of code for Battle Pass content. The game doesn’t currently have a Battle Pass, but it seems likely that one will be added in the near future.

Marvel Tokon is set to get four DLC characters by September 2027, with the already announced Phoenix Cyclops releasing later this year. If the datamined content is intended to be implemented, it’s likely that the Battle Pass will be released alongside Phoenix Cyclops.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls launched earlier this month, and PC performance issues have resulted in a “Mixed” review average on Steam. Despite that, the game has achieved a respectable Metascore of 86 on the review aggregate site Metacritic.
