RoboCop: Rogue City has been quietly delayed again to November
The game was due out in September, but its latest trailer suggests otherwise
RoboCop: Rogue City has quietly suffered another delay.
The game was previously scheduled for release in June 2023, but in March the launch window was pushed back by Nacon until September.
However, as noted by ComicBook, Nacon’s latest trailer for the game appears to suggest it’s slipped again to November.
While the trailer itself doesn’t mention a date, the description for it reads: “Follow the part man, part machine in this gameplay trailer combining detective work and gory shoot-outs. Reinforcements arrive on November 2, 2023.”
While the game still has a September 2023 release date on Steam, developer Teyon has also mentioned the new release date on Twitter.
“Mark your calendars for November 2nd, when this thrilling experience will hit PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series S and X”, it tweeted on Monday.
RoboCop: Rogue City features an original story in which players explore Detroit and make dialogue choices on a mission to bring justice to the city’s crime-ridden streets.
The first RoboCop: Rogue City gameplay trailer was shown in July 2022. It revealed that actor Peter Weller was returning to reprise the role of Alex Murphy, the part man, part machine cop that made him a star in the 1980s.
Teyon is the studio behind 2019 first-person shooter Terminator: Resistance. It was recently announced that Terminator: Resistance will be getting an enhanced version on Xbox Series X/S, two years after it came to PS5.
