RoboCop: Rogue City gets a new gameplay trailer and delayed release window
The game will now hit PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC in September
RoboCop: Rogue City has received a new gameplay trailer alongside the news that its launch window has been delayed.
The latest trailer, which is viewable below, premiered during a Nacon Direct presentation on Thursday.
It shows off the investigative side of the FPS as Robocop takes down a gang of drug dealers working out of the basement of an arcade store.
Previously scheduled for release in June 2023, the game’s launch window has now been pushed to September for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store
Publisher Nacon didn’t mention a previously announced Nintendo Switch version of the game as part of Thursday’s announcement.
RoboCop: Rogue City is in development at Teyon, the studio behind 2019 first-person shooter Terminator: Resistance.
It features an original story in which players explore Detroit and make dialogue choices on a mission to bring justice to the city’s crime-ridden streets.
The first RoboCop: Rogue City gameplay trailer was published last July. It revealed that actor Peter Weller was returning to reprise the role of Alex Murphy, the part man, part machine cop that made him a star in the 1980s.
