Koei Tecmo’s PS5 exclusive is officially coming to PC
Rise of the Ronin will release for Steam in early 2025
Koei Tecmo has announced plans to release Rise of the Ronin for PC.
The Team Ninja-developed game will be available via Steam on March 11, 2025. Pre-orders are now open, with the title priced at $49.99 / £39.99.
The Steam version will support PC features including ultra-wide monitor combability, 8K resolution, 120 fps and 3D audio.
Players who purchase it before April 2 will receive a bonus including four combat styles (Hayabusa-ryu for katana, Hayabusa-ryu for naginata, Nioh-ryu for katana, and Aisu Kage-ryu for katana), plus the Iga Ninja armour set and the Iga Ninja’s katana.

Released last March exclusively for PS5, Rise of the Ronin is an open-world action RPG that sees players embarking on a journey across war-torn 19th-century Japan.
VGC’s Rise of the Ronin review called it “a fine open world adventure that never elevates itself to greatness”.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is in development, it was confirmed last week. The game is a collaboration between Team Ninja and PlatinumGames and will be published by Xbox Game Studios.
A release is planned for fall 2025 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
