Revenge of the Savage Planet is coming to Game Pass at release in May
Raccoon Logic’s Journey to the Savage Planet sequel has received a release date

Raccoon Logic has announced a release date for Revenge of the Savage Planet.
The sequel to 2020 first-person adventure, Journey to the Savage Planet, will be released on May 8, 2025.
It will be available for Xbox Series X/S and Game Pass. It is also coming to PS5, PS4, and PC (GOG, Epic Games Store and Steam).
Raccoon Logic announced Revenge of the Savage Planet during Gamescom Opening Night Live in August 2024.
“Revenge of the Savage Planet is an upbeat, satirical action adventure sci-fi,” according to an official product description. “Jump, shoot and collect your way across vibrant alien worlds, uncovering new gear and upgrades, while discovering various hidden secrets.”
The sequel features single-player, online co-op, crossplay, and split screen modes.
Released in 2020, Journey to the Savage Planet was developed by Typhoon Studios and directed by Alex Hutchinson, who was previously creative director on Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed 3 and Far Cry 4, and lead designer on EA‘s Spore.
While the studio was closed by parent company Google the following year, the core talent from Typhoon reformed as Montreal-based Raccoon Logic, which regained the rights to the Savage Planet IP.
