Fresh Resident Evil Village details have been revealed ahead of their official announcement, via product listings for the game on Humble Bundle.

Resident Evil Village includes the base game and access to Resident Evil Re:Verse, which could be an anticipated multiplayer mode, while the Deluxe Edition also includes the Trauma Pack (DLC items).

Capcom recently announced a closed beta test for an unknown multiplayer action game set in the Resident Evil franchise, and earlier this week Steam DB showed that Village’s store tags had been updated to include a multiplayer tag.

The closed beta is described as a “test celebrating the 25th anniversary of Resident Evil” and is due to be held on PS4 and Xbox One from January 27-29. Further details will be revealed during a Resident Evil Showcase on Thursday.

It’s possible that the beta could be related to an online mode for Resident Evil Village. The game has yet to be officially confirmed for last-gen consoles, although a Capcom producer previously said the company was exploring the possibility of releasing Resident Evil Village for PS4 and Xbox One.

The Humble Bundle Deluxe Edition listing reads: “Experience survival horror like never before in the eighth major installment in the storied Resident Evil franchise – Resident Evil Village. Heighten all the pulse-pounding action with the addition of the Trauma Pack and Resident Evil Re:Verse.

Capcom has said it could release Resident Evil Village for PS4 and Xbox One

“The Trauma Pack includes memorabilia such as the Samurai Edge weapon, the Mr. Everywhere accessory, a screen filter, special safe room background music, and many more items to amplify your Resident Evil Village experience.

“Details of the operational period for Resident Evil Re:Verse, including commencement of availability and any potential announcements relating to the end of service, can be found on the official website.”

The official website in question has yet to be updated with further details.

The product listing adds: “Please note that, depending on the timing of your purchase of Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil Re:Verse may already no longer be available, and/or the title may become available through other means in the future.”

Resident Evil Village pre-order bonuses include a Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm, Survival Resources Pack and Resident Evil Village Mini Soundtrack.

The Resident Evil Showcase will kick off on January 21 at 2pm PT/10pm GMT. According to Capcom, the event will feature a guided walkthrough of Resident Evil Village, including a new trailer, plus additional Resident Evil franchise news.
