Get spooked on the go later this year
Resident Evil 5 and 6 are coming to Nintendo Switch.
The action-packed games join Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil Remaster, and Resident Evil 4 on Nintendo‘s hybrid system following their release last month.
Announced at Nintendo’s E3 briefing, Resident Evil 5 will feature online and couch co-op so a pal can play as Chris Redfield’s partner, Sheva Alomar, while Resident Evil 6 revisits series stalwarts Leon S. Kennedy, Redfield and Ada Wong.
“While the Umbrella Corporation and its crop of lethal viruses have been destroyed and contained, a more dangerous threat has emerged,” Nintendo said via a press release. “Somewhere in Africa, innocent villagers are transforming into aggressive and disturbing creatures.”
Resident Evil 6, on the other hand, blends “action and survival horror” to deliver “an epic and dramatic horror experience”.
The games will release on Nintendo Switch in autumn/fall 2019.
