Red Dead Redemption 2 hits Steam on December 5

Rockstar has announced that the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on Steam on December 5.

The PC version of the game includes a range of exclusive content such as increased draw distances, improved shadows and lighting, plus new grass and fur textures.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 PC launch trailer also showcases some of the new release’s graphical and technical enhancements.

New story mode content includes three bounty hunter missions, two gang hideouts, two treasure maps, four weapons, plus fresh horses and trinkets to collect.

Players have encountered numerous problems with the PC version of the game since it released elsewhere on November 5, leading to a series of Red Dead Redemption 2 updates designed to fix the issues and an apology from the studio.

Red Dead Redemption 2 also released on Stadia on November 19.

The console versions of the game have shipped over 25 million units worldwide since their October 2018 release, according to publisher Take-Two.
