Rainbow Six Siege and Evil Within 2 join PlayStation Now

Rainbow Six Siege is the headline addition to the PlayStation Now library in May.

Subscribers can now download and stream Ubisoft’s tactical multiplayer shooter until November 2.

May’s other PlayStation Now additions are the Tango Gameworks developed horror sequel The Evil Within 2 and psychological thriller Get Even from developer Farm 51.

The subscription service’s software library includes more than 300 PS4 and PS2 games which can be downloaded and played on a PS4 console, and over 700 PS2, PS3 and PS4 titles streamable to PS4 or PC.

Sony slashed PlayStation Now prices in October 2019 in a bid to be more competitive with rival streaming services. It also began adding “blockbuster” games each month, which are available for a limited time.

Control and Shadow of the Tomb Raider joined PlayStation Now in March, while Spider-Man and Just Cause 4 were added in April.

Shorty after it reduced membership prices, Sony said PlayStation Now had reached one million subscribers.

May’s PlayStation Plus games, Cities Skylines and Farming Simulator 19, are now available to download at no extra cost for subscribers until June 1.

As part of an initiative designed to promote social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic, Sony is giving away PS4 games Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey, but the offer ends today. Players who download the titles free of charge before 8pm PT / 11pm ET / 4am Wednesday UK can keep them forever.
