Rainbow Six Extraction is coming to Xbox and PC Game Pass at launch

Rainbow Six Extraction will be released on Xbox Game Pass beginning on January 20, which is the title’s launch date.

The co-op shooter will be available via Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Originally revealed at E3 2019 as Rainbow Six Quarantine, Extraction is a squad-based survival FPS developed by a new team within Ubisoft Montreal.

Taking place several years in the future of the Rainbow Six universe, the title sees players team up to combat a mutated alien parasite.

Set to release for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, the Ubisoft Store on Windows PC and Stadia, Extraction sees players embark on PvE Incursions against alien opponents and attempt to complete various objectives such as gathering intel.

Teams can decide to progress through increasingly difficult map zones, with the chance of extra rewards, or choose to extract at certain points with their loot.

It was also confirmed today that Rainbow Six Siege will be made available with PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate starting on January 20. It’s already available for Xbox Game Pass.

The Rainbow Six and Assassin’s Creed publisher also announced today that its Ubisoft+ subscription service is headed to Xbox consoles.
