Rahul Kohli to host Warhammer Skulls reveal stream next week
The presentation will feature “world premieres, reveals” and more, according to Games Workshop
Games Workshop has announced that actor Rahul Kohli will host its Warhammer Skulls stream.
Featuring “world premieres, reveals” and more, the presentation will air on May 25 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST.
“Get ready for exciting announcements and world premieres as well as a week-long discount across a wide range of Warhammer video games,” said Kohli.
The event will also feature a behind-the-scenes look at Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, which launches later this month for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, as well as Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Total War: Warhammer III, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide arrived for PC in November. The game was announced in 2020 and was originally planned for release the following year before being delayed to spring 2022.
It was then pushed back again to mid-September, before a final delay saw the PC version being released in November.
In January, the launch of Darktide’s seasonal content was delayed on PC, while the game’s Xbox Series X/S release was delayed again.
At the time Martin Wahlund, CEO of developer and publisher Fatshark, said the company planned to spend the next few months addressing fan feedback following the game’s PC release.
“Over the next few months, our sole focus is to address the feedback that many of you have. In particular, we will focus on delivering a complete crafting system, a more rewarding progression loop, and continue to work on game stability and performance optimization.
“This also means that we will delay our seasonal content rollout and the Xbox Series X/S launch. We will also suspend the upcoming releases of premium cosmetics. We just couldn’t continue down this path, knowing that we have not addressed many feedback areas in the game today.”
