Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls is getting a TV series adaptation
Elliot Page’s Pageboy Productions has acquired the rights to make a Beyond: Two Souls TV show
Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls is set to be adapted into a TV series.
The rights to make a TV series based on the psychological action thriller have been purchased by Elliot Page‘s Pageboy Productions, Deadline reports.
Page starred in the game as Jodie Holmes, a girl born with a link to a supernatural entity called Aiden.
The adaptation is reportedly in early development and is expected to explore the game’s non-linear narrative.
Co-starring Willem Dafoe, Beyond: Two Souls was originally released for PS3 in 2013, before making its way to PS4 in 2015 and PC in 2019.
“Filming the game was one of the most challenging and fulfilling acting experiences of my career,” said Page. “The story’s rich narrative and emotional depth offer us a fantastic foundation. We want to create a unique vision of the characters and their journeys that resonates with fans and newcomers.”
“This adaptation will honor the game’s legacy while inviting fresh perspectives,” added Pageboy’s head of development and production Matt Jordan Smith. “Delving into questions of survival and how split-second decisions can alter not just our lives, but the lives of others, are key to telling the story.”
