PS5 games from Rockstar, Konami, Bethesda and 2K have been listed on Amazon
PlayStation 5 console placeholders also have £599 price tags
Amazon has listed several new placeholders for PlayStation 5 games from various publishers.
While it’s unclear if the listings are authentic, the online retailer currently has placeholders for PS5 games from Konami, 2K and Koch Media.
Placeholders for PS5 games from Rockstar, 2K, Bethesda and Koch were also reportedly spotted on Amazon before being delisted.
It’s claimed there are 118 next-gen (PS5 and Xbox Series X) dummy listings on Amazon UK, including 500GB/1TB/2TB models for both systems. PS5 1TB and 2TB console placeholders reportedly both have £599 price tags.
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced this week that its delayed PlayStation 5 software showcase will take place on Thursday, June 11.
It was originally scheduled to be held on June 4, but was pushed back in light of ongoing Black Lives Matter protests.
The company has recommended those planning to view the hour-plus event do so using headphones as “there’s some cool audio work in the show”.
In May, Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida said the company would unveil a “compelling” line-up of PS5 games in the near future.
Prior to the reveal event’s delay, Sony had been advertising the show on US television, raising expectations that it has major announcements lined up for the show.
A new patent likely related to the PlayStation 5 system menu has potentially offered the clearest look yet at the next-gen console’s UI.
